Dunkin' Will Eliminate All Polystyrene Foam Cups in Its Global Supply Chain By The End Of 2021.

Dunkin', another major coffee and baked goods chain, has announced that it will eliminate all polystyrene foam cups in its global supply chain by the end of 2021. The company has already begun to transition to double-walled paper cups for hot beverages in all of its US restaurants and plans to do the same in international markets. The move to paper cups is expected to prevent millions of pounds of waste from entering the environment, as polystyrene foam cups are not easily recyclable or biodegradable. Dunkin' has also committed to using 30% post-consumer recycled content for its paper cups globally by the end of 2022.
