1. Disposable paper cups with fluorescent powder added
Phosphor powder is added to many disposable paper cups, and the ink on them is usually unhealthy and has the potential to cause cancer. If you must use it, scald it with boiling water for a few minutes before pouring it out, so that the harmful substances in the paper cup can be fully volatilized.
2. Plastic cup
Most plastic cups are not resistant to high temperatures. For example, plastic cups made of polystyrene, polyethylene terephthalate and other materials are used to hold hot drinks, which will produce harmful substances such as styrene monomer.
How to choose disposable cups?
Paper cup
Paper cups are usually coated with wax or plastic to prevent liquid from seeping.
Multi-coated paper cups are usually used to refer to paper cups that have been coated with polyethylene (PE/04) material, which is more stable, smoother and water-resistant than non-coated materials.
Plastic cup
There is usually a triangular logo on the bottom of the plastic cup, and the numbers inside represent different materials.
The one marked with the PET logo is resistant to 65 degrees Celsius and cold to -20 degrees Celsius;
Those marked with the PP logo can be used in microwave ovens for fresh-keeping boxes;
Those marked with the OTHER logo can be used for drinking water bottles, baby bottles, etc.
It is recommended to buy a No. 5 PP plastic water cup or a No. 7 OTHER Tritan water cup, which is not only heat-resistant and healthy, but also resistant to falling.
