What's the difference between a disposable lunch box and a plastic bag?

I. Disposable lunch boxes and plastic bags are recyclable waste

According to the industrial standard of "Classification and Evaluation Criteria for Municipal Solid Waste" and the German garbage classification method, recyclables refer to wastes suitable for recycling and resource utilization. Mainly including paper, plastic, metal, glass, textile.

Plastic category mainly includes: waste container plastic, packaging plastic and other plastic products. Such as all kinds of plastic bags, plastic bottles, plastic foam, disposable plastic dining boxes tableware, hard plastic and so on.

Two, the main difference between disposable lunchboxes and plastic bags

(1) The main ingredients are different

(1) Disposable lunch box

Main Ingredients: plastic, paper, starch, rare metals.

(2) Plastic bags

Main Ingredients: polypropylene, polyester, nylon, etc.

(2) Different characteristics

(1) Disposable lunch box

Disposable fast food boxes have been transformed from foam lunchboxes to environmentally friendly lunchboxes. The original foam lunchboxes have been eliminated due to their high temperature resistance and environmental damage caused by the production process. Plastic lunchboxes, paper lunchboxes, wooden lunchboxes, degradable lunchboxes and so on. Among them, plastic has the characteristics of low toxicity, high melting point, strong plasticity, easy production and low relative cost, so it has become the mainstream material for manufacturing disposable fast food boxes.

①, polyethylene film (non-toxic)

The film is milky white, translucent (especially obvious when observed in several layers stacked), and it feels lubricate, as if coated with wax layer on the surface. It shakes vigorously, and the sound is brittle. It is flammable in case of fire, and the flame is yellow, and the mucus drops when burning, and the smell of candle burning.

(2) Polyvinyl chloride film (generally toxic)

If the pigment is not added, it is transparent, and its surface is sticky to the touch. It shakes forcefully, and its voice is low. It is not easy to burn in case of fire, and it is extinguished from the flame.

(1) Disposable lunch box

Disposable foamed plastic food box is also known as disposable foamed polystyrene fast food box. Polystyrene is used as raw material. If the free monomer styrene in its products is released by heat and enters the body with food, it will do certain harm to the central nervous system, kidney and liver, and even cause cancer. Therefore, long-term use will increase the risk of disease.

(2) Plastic bags

Plastic bag recycling value is low, in the process of use in the city streets, tourist areas, water bodies, road and railway sides, in addition to causing visual pollution, there are also potential hazards. Plastic structure is stable, not easy to be degraded by natural microorganisms, long-term in the natural environment is not separated. This means that if the waste plastic waste is not recycled, it will become a pollutant in the environment for a long time and accumulate, which will cause great harm to the environment.
